Does it make you immune to status effects? Breath and spell damage? Or does it just mitigate the damage / chance by a lot?

I also know that being dispelled with invuln up is Really Bad, but I'm not sure how bad that is either
Invulnerability doesn't work 100% of the time. Aside from psycho-spears which always penetrate your shield of invulnerability, there is a small chance that any attack can damage you. There is no damage reduction if it does.

If dispelled or if it times out, than your energy gets set to zero. This might make you lose a turn or get double moved and can be deadly.

Or is it a matter of just guessing for the moment.
I think you need to use *identify* scrolls to see all the powers of an artefact and other things. I'm not 100% sure how *identify* works, except that it's probably too expensive for you at this stage in the game

Also, throwing weapons & proficency. Do they use the relevent melee skill? What about throwing rocks? Are daggers & spears throwing weapons, or do you need specific throwing knifes?

What change is this in reference to?

Edit: Possible bug. The fire command has the option of fire from floor, but it tells you your out of ammunition if you try it.
Thanks. I've addressed these for next release (3.3.2).

~4 will show you possessor info for all known monsters.

At some point, I will be changing the monster recall code itself (If anybody likes the hard to parse story format, please speak now!). I was thinking of a "monster sheet" format analagous to the player's "character sheet". When I do this overhaul, possessor info code will be available here as well.

That one of your virtue changes in the negative direction. I never pay attention to virtues as they don't do much.

Btw, can you get forms while killing stuff with the poison needle? It doesn't look that way. (Which might be a good thing.)

And you really need this mechanic if you are casting Arcane garbage all the time

    Somebody removed it

For me, this tended to encourage start scumming for a decent drop. Since my resistance to this sort of behavior is rather low, my only recourse was to remove the opportunity. Sad, but true.
