Invulnerability doesn't work 100% of the time. Aside from psycho-spears which always penetrate your shield of invulnerability, there is a small chance that any attack can damage you. There is no damage reduction if it does.
If dispelled or if it times out, than your energy gets set to zero. This might make you lose a turn or get double moved and can be deadly.

Does someone want to explain to me how invulnerability actually works? I notice myself taking little bits of melee damage, but not sure how that translates if something breathes 900 on me (and I haven't been brave enough to find out.)
Does it make you immune to status effects? Breath and spell damage? Or does it just mitigate the damage / chance by a lot?
I also know that being dispelled with invuln up is Really Bad, but I'm not sure how bad that is eitherLeave a comment:

So I just identified my amulet which is great because now I know what it does. 'I'nspecting it tells me: The Amulet of Grip(+1) This object may have additional powers. Hmm, either something helping me keep a hold of my weapon or a dog collar with Farmer Maggot's phone number. Is there a list anywhere I can look up what objects do? Or is it a matter of just guessing for the moment.Leave a comment:

Also, throwing weapons & proficency. Do they use the relevent melee skill? What about throwing rocks? Are daggers & spears throwing weapons, or do you need specific throwing knifes?Leave a comment:

On the subject of item avaliability in stores bows/slings seem a little rare. Normally I'd like to pick-up a sling at the start, & it's not that often it's avaliable. Though that's just a minor annoyance of course.
Edit: Possible bug. The fire command has the option of fire from floor, but it tells you your out of ammunition if you try it.Leave a comment:

At some point, I will be changing the monster recall code itself (If anybody likes the hard to parse story format, please speak now!). I was thinking of a "monster sheet" format analagous to the player's "character sheet". When I do this overhaul, possessor info code will be available here as well.Leave a comment:

Right now, I have an active Draconian Wild-Talent that gets a "You are not very mystical" message when I destroy certain items. What does that mean?
Btw, can you get forms while killing stuff with the poison needle? It doesn't look that way. (Which might be a good thing.)
And something else. I often want to check which stat a certain mimiced monster uses, but you can't check mimicform if you are not in your basic form. Maybe create a "stop mimic' power and a 'check current form' power.Last edited by Arjen; June 5, 2014, 11:56.Leave a comment:

I probably won't be making any changes to wizardstaves, I was just voicing my personal opinions on the matter. It seems weird that a Rogue could benefit, for example. But were I to make a change, Warrior Mages probably would be allowed to use them since they are supposed to actually be a dual class, not a hybrid. And you really need this mechanic if you are casting Arcane garbage all the timeLeave a comment:

For me, this tended to encourage start scumming for a decent drop. Since my resistance to this sort of behavior is rather low, my only recourse was to remove the opportunity. Sad, but true.Leave a comment:
