I've got four new names. Only five left!
The Hard Leather Cap 'Cosmic Egg'
The Brigandine Armour of St Baltazar
The Cloak of the Peacock
The Kite Shield of the Sky-SpiritsComment

Maybe one more name, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
The Large Metal Shield of Twenty-Three Magicks
From a Mongolian myth. Atai Ulaan "made thirteen magicks dance on his palm and twenty-three magicks dance on his fingers".
Skultgard sorcerers are big on numerology.Comment

I didn't take the time to read anything, so I hope I'm not way outta sync here. I saw your post and my brain said here you go: A main gauche (french for left hand) called Sinister Reminder (sinister also meaning left handed, i think)
The enemy is all, damn, that melee attack was rough! oh yeah, he has a left han~ *dead*Comment

Ha ha, I didn't know that!
Latin sinister = left handed
Alas, there's no main gauches in HoM anymore.Comment

The leather gloves could improve alchemy, maybe "of Paracelsus" or "of the Still".
Perhaps "Head of the Gorgo" for the remaining shield? Gorgon heads as warding symbols were apparently rather common in Greece. http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GorgoneionComment

Alchemy is a good idea. Paracelcus is a slightly too well known name for my purposes... How about The Leather Gloves of Agathodaimon?
The Large Metal Shield 'Gorgon's Head' sounds good to me. Lots of fitting pictures on Google!Perhaps "Head of the Gorgo" for the remaining shield? Gorgon heads as warding symbols were apparently rather common in Greece. http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GorgoneionComment
