    *band With Original Setting.

Does anyone know a few Bands with original settings? Or perhaps a non-Tolkien setting?

Malastro is a good one. Been playing it a bit off and on recently. Haven't won yet but been having lots of fun dying

Animeband, though I don't think that's been updated in years...
You read the scroll labeled NOBIMUS UPSCOTI...
You are surrounded by a stasis field!

Thankee much! All of these are great, especially Steamband and Malastro.

I found Halls of Mist today as well, but haven't tried it. Is it any good?

Steamband is one of my favorites. I like Halls of Mist, but it's not precisely balanced yet and IS fairly traditional.

Brogue is another great (non-oook) quick play. Brogue breaks with traditional RL's but stays fairly true to original Rogue.

There's also ToME, though it doesn't really qualify as a *band anymore...

Am I the only one who is now picturing in his head a roguelike written by Barney Stinson?
