    Quoting UnAndrew from this thread:

BTW: wip-5a should be out in the next couple of days. There are some very corrupted zip files up at the moment and the Berlios site's broken and not letting me remove them. I guess I'm not paying, but...

Hmm, I see that 0.62-wip5a is supposedly out, according the the berlios page, but I can't seem to download anything - the source release has no files and the Windows release is an empty zip!

You can take advantage of our full bug reporting facilities in fact.

Try http://developer.berlios.de/bugs/?group_id=331 for bug reporting goodness.

Ah, that is surely it, then. I just picked up mine from a site called Furytech, where 0.6.0 is the most current (non-beta) release. I'll do as you suggest for the most recent.

    Cheers,

My favorite feature was the ability to alter my weapons with potions and whatnot, but either (a) I'm too clueless to figure out how again, or (b) I'm remembering a completely different variant, or (c) it's been removed. Can anyone clarify? Can I be going senile already? I still get carded for beer!

    Thanks,

You need to apply the potion to the weapon. Its either 'y' or '^G' in the roguelike key set.

We're up to 0.6.2 work in progress releases. 0.6.0 is quite old and may not have that feature. The main website (unangband.berlios.de) looks like its up again, so you should be able to follow the links to the downloads from there.

If you're interested in becoming an Atheme.org project, I can arrange for hosting and etc. Alternatively, I can set up a Wiki or something on Dreamhost, and we can go from there. [Be warned: I will only install Mantis if you ask for a bugtracker; I hate the rest.]

What are the plans about that? Some time ago Sourceforge was also quite fussy; I don't know how it's now. When Un is fully GPLed, Savannah will be an option. Anything else?

I'm getting a dig in the ribs at the moment so I'll have to turn in soon

It doesn't help that berios.de is down all the time. But I'm trying to play my own variant more, so will naturally work on the balance side of things + bugginess.

I haven't played Un in about 5 years or so... since very early on. How is it doing these days?
