Food in Angband should be:
1) VERY SIMPLE.
2) Not needing micro-management by the player
3) Totally unconnected to healing spells, potions, abilities of all kinds.
4) Unable to be over-consumed (VERY IMPORTANT).
5) Accompanied by impossible-to-miss alerts when hunger and starvation begins.
Also, any food system designed for Angband that does not meet all of these requirements should be able to be TURNED OFF through a menu option, so that players can forego ridiculous effects like being fatally slowed because they are almost, but not quite, "full."
