    Passable Rubble

Ok, what's the deal with passable rubble? I like the aesthetics and the idea, and am in no way suggesting to get rid of it, but it's broken! When mobs stand in it, it's like they're a wallwalker standing in a wall; I can't hit them with my spells (haven't tried arrows, but I assume they fail). However, when I stand in the rubble, I can easily take hits from monster spells and breathers.

Why does rubble benefit mobs by making them immune to everything but melee, but not the player?

That's a bug, and I'm surprised it hasn't been noticed before. Arrows should be fine (at least I could hit Farmer Maggot with a ration of food).

Correct behaviour is that spells should work on the first layer of rubble, but don't propagate further.

Maybe PASSWALL monsters should be able to hide in rubble?

desc:Ends LOS, stops missiles, bolts, and beams, and reduces the radius of ball
desc: spells. May dissolve or be tunnelled to normal floor, and can be walked
desc: through by the player and monsters.
The description suggests that it should be treated as a passable wall, so it should be fixed too.

I'm surprised if I'm the first one to point it out too. The first time my priest's Orb of Draining failed to hit a hound in rubble, but he was able to breathe on me, I thought "Sweet, I am so gonna nuke some mobs from the safety of rubble!". It was a major disappointment when it didn't benefit me in the same way. :P
