    The summon demon curse activates sufficiently rarely that it doesn't work as an EXP booster (and Greater Balrogs really aren't worth killing.) But yeah, it is kind of a weird combination. There just are very few situations where a single demon is any kind of threat, this late in the game.

    Blessed egos and artifacts shouldn't be cursed. Also SLAY weapons shouldn't summon monsters of the slay type. (Found a lovely HA BoC that with Siren and Summon Demon curse. This makes little sense.)

    rd_monster() has "struct chunk *c" parameter, yet the call to mon_create_mimicked_object() uses "cave". Probably not the only case.

    More new builds up, usual place, changes are:
    • A fix to an issue that was causing savefile corruption on some levels where there was a mimic
    • Removed cheat_know option, because now there's a better way of doing that via copying monster.txt to lore.txt (#2039)
    • Made lava glow (fixing #2031 and #2036)
    • Added a birth option to know all flavors


    If anyone finds that last one controversial, there's a much more radical birth option coming soon
