40 is too shallow. 55 is about right, where it will show up in special rooms by dl 45, not every game, but often enough.

It's just that with my limited knowledge, i'm certain this Barahir ring isn't the endgame ring. Might as well make it having some useful invocation or buff it.

I had no second thoughts dropping it. And I was playing my first game for ages.
