    Level feelings and monster inventory

I never really got the hang of how monster inventories work. If I understand correctly, now the loot is generated when the level is created, right? Then, do the objects carried by monsters count towards the level feeling?

I wonder about this, in my current game, I've had two early awesome levels with named artifacts (one had Bullroarer and two Orc chieftains in the same room - yeah tame and sheltered at dl5-ish lol) and both had only scraps of junks here.

The bow of lothlorien - seems quite cool to me currently at dl 26. Give me more scraps please

[edit] - apologies, I found the bow of lothlorien in a level where 'there aren't many treasures' Suppose it's just one

      Short answer - no.

It used to be that a monster's drop was only generated when it was killed. While they are now generated on monster creation, for all other purposes it's treated as if those objects aren't in the game until the monster dies.

        Thanks, perfectly clear!

Except for the fact that if monster carries an artifact, that artifact cannot be created in that level no matter how many other monsters you kill in that level.

AFAIK. That's what I remember from the discussion made when that change was made.

Or until the @ leaves the level, at which point an artifact in a monster's inventory is freed up to be created again.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”
