As a Priest, you should almost always be able to win the final battle if you have a few prerequisites:- Enough speed to match Morgoth, so he can't double move you. I think this requires +30 permanent plus a reliable temporary source (a good stack of potions or a few staffs, preferably both).
- Enough HP to survive a mana storm (600 HP), with a buffer in case another monster gets a shot in on you as well.
- Ability to cast Teleport Other, Word of Destruction, and Healing (the big one, from P & H) at a 0% failure rate.
- Some big healing consumables (*Healing* and Life) to fall back on if you are low on SP and need to heal.
- A few dozen Potions of Restore Mana and/or several Staffs of the Magi, preferably both (potions don't fail, but staffs can be recharged), and the more the better.
- All the high Priestly books, except possibly Holy Infusions.
Based on your dump, you should be able to give it a shot as you are right now, although I might hold out for a little more speed. Priests rock, although you have probably figured that out already. They are possibly the easiest to prepare for the final battle, because you just need some speed and mana restoration, and everything else you really need is in your spellbooks. Just make sure you heal immediately anytime your HP drops below 600, and make sure you don't accidentally destruct Morgoth.
Slow down and type carefully when you are casting that huge Healing spell. Otherwise, just keep your SP up and good luck!
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then why are beholders so freaking ugly?Comment

There is "remove curse" in town book which is able to remove only ordinary curses, then there is "dispel curse" in dungeon book which can remove heavy curses too (can't remember which books).
This is like difference between heal and healing. First heals 300 points latter 1000.Comment

OK, I have updated the dump here http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=11238
and have killed all of the uniques except Vecna and the two biggies, and I am about to recall down to level 98 and jump in. Am I ready? Should I use this newfound Great Hammer of Fury, or continue with good old Aule? How much consumables do I need? I plan to go back up before I take on the big M.Comment

That fury is pretty useless. Use Aule. You have plenty of consumables. What you lack is restore mana-potions. With priest you don't actually need much anything else, so 30+ *healing* is overkill. With WoG banish evil at 0% failure and Purifications bigger healing also at 0% failure, 100% saving throw, speed +30+, confusion, blindness and sound covered you only need to be able to heal melee stunning (earthquake) and something to get rid of non-evil summons (Balance dragons mainly). You have banishment and mass-banishment scrolls, so you are pretty much safe from death.OK, I have updated the dump here http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=11238

Don't rely on staves and wands, they get drained. Sauron is easy if you fight him in restricted space so that he can't summon much. Expect to see Vecna (and escorts) when fighting him.Comment

Sauron will summon him. Teleport him away when he appears. If there is a risk by escorts that they manastorm you to death use banish evil and hunt Sauron down and finish him. Then go after Vecna. Last fight is so much easier without uniques left.
If Sauron doesn't summon him, then he will appear in last fight. Repeat procedure. Morgoth will come back, I don't think Vecna will find you that far away. Just don't use tele-self to bail out from final fight.Comment
