"C" then "f". Then you have a file in /lib/user which contains the chardump.

You can either copy&paste contents here (put it between (CODE) (/CODE), brackets instead of parenthesis), or you can post it in ladder and give us link to that. If you copy&paste use some text-editor that can handle ASCII without changing the format, IE. no formatting or fonts.

            Thank.
One thing is mostly making me afraid of diving. met some chaos hounds and that wasn't a pleasant experience. Same with a jabberwock and chaos vortexes.
            Should i still fear it?

Also, met my first Undead pit right now. Wow, just left the drujs behind.

Just avoid monsters you don't want to fight. Chaos hounds are good experience if you can take them out without them breathing on you (or if you resist chaos) but otherwise should be avoided. Definitely stay far away from undead pits.

Why, when i can hit then back from liches? i just have problems with the drujs, which i left alone... behind a closed door

Wait... are there monsters more dangerous than arch liches in those pits?

Yes. OTOH Reavers tend to leave the pit as soon as they see you. And bring the entire contents of the pit with them. Dracolichs, Nightwalkers, Nightcrawlers and Reavers are monsters you don't want to fight unless you can fight them one by one, and with disenchant resist for two of them. There are also other nasties with weak drop and annoying/dangerous melee/spells there.

Many of those disenchant in melee, so be careful. I have seen Borg with Ringil (+9,+9) and that was just sad.

Black reavers. The biggest danger isn't the mana storms, it's the "boring through walls" ability, which allows it to come tunneling straight to your position with its undead buddies in tow, and makes anti-summoning corridors rather less useful.

                    === Num:524 Lev:74 Rar:3 Spd:+10 Hp:3960 Ac:170 Exp:23000
A humanoid form, black as night, advancing steadily and unstoppably, even the very rock of the dungeon cannot prevent it reaching you. This evil undead creature is normally found at depths of 3700 feet (level 74), and moves quickly. It may carry up to 3 good objects. It can open doors, bash down doors, and bore through walls. It is cold blooded. It resists cold, poison, bright light, and rock remover, and cannot be confused or slept. It tends to overlook intruders, which it may notice from 200 feet. It may cast spells intelligently which invoke mana storms (425), produce nether balls (179), cause brain smashing (96), cause mortal wounds (120), cause critical wounds (80), blind, confuse, paralyze, drain mana, teleport to, or summon an undead; 1 time in 3. It can hit to disenchant with damage 6d8, hit to disenchant with damage 6d8, hit to reduce strength with damage 4d6, and hit to reduce strength with damage 4d6. (Angband 3.1.2v2)
Edit: Timo beat me to it. BTW, nightcrawlers apparently don't bore through walls any more in Vanilla, so they should be somewhat safer to deal with.

(Also, bone golems actually don't look too bad, spellcasting only 1 in 8 now and no Summon Greater Undead. In some variants they're a good deal more obnoxious.)

Am now dead. Two great storm wyrms breathing simultaneously on me. How do i change the ladder log?
And what would be a good combo to start 3.1.2?
Edit : problems starting 3.1.2 on mac : cannot create /Users/quentin/Desktop/Angband.app/Contents/lib/info

If you have a chardump of the dead character, just resubmit it under the same name. The ladder displays the latest dump that you've uploaded. If not, there is a "flag character as dead" link on your character's ladder page.

How did you get 3.1.2? This path should be .../Angband.app/Contents/Resources/lib/info.

Odd. That version works fine for me. At what point do you see that message? If you open up Terminal.app and run

                            Code:
                            ls -R /Users/quentin/Desktop/Angband.app/Contents
                            what do you get?

I'd guess it's a permissions issue. Try doing
                              Code:
                              chmod -R 0755 /Users/quentin/Desktop/Angband.app
