    Disappeared features

Speed. Any chance we could get the show speed as multiple back? I see it was moved to the "C"haracter info screen, but the sidebar has switched back to the +10, +20, +30, system and the feature option to show speed as percentage was removed. Such a pain to have to switch to the Character info screen all over again just to see what speed really means. Sucks the option was removed.

Also to let you know, some recent change to Vanilla on anband.live really slowed graphic rendering way down. By about early mid-game, when @ enters a new area or new lighted room, you have to sit there and watch as the room is rendered line-by-line. And hope you haven't spammed any keys because the reactions on screen were so slow.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”

The speed display option hasn't actually been removed, but the addition of the autoexplore option has pushed it off the interface option page. I've recorded it as a bug.

I assume the angband.live thing applies to all games.

Speed display option is now available again, backwardsEric changed it so that the option screen scrolls.

Thanks, Nick, you are the man! And thanks to backwardsEric too!

Does it also include Hasted i.e. current speed? Or just the default speed rating?

The status bar display for speed includes the base value and any modifiers from timed effects. The value shown on the first page of the character sheet and character dumps excludes some timed effects (TMD_FAST, from speed potions or haste activations and spells, and TMD_SLOW, for monster's slowing attacks and potions of slowness) but not others (stoneskin, sprinting, terror, and the slowing from being full). From my point of view, it would be cleaner if the value shown on first page of the character sheet either excluded all of the timed effects that affect speed or it did not exclude any of them. If there are other opinions about how speed is handled on the character sheet, I'd like to hear them. The current behavior has been in place for quite a while, >18 years according to the commit history for ui-player.c.
