Here are a couple of problems I encountered with 3.1.1. These don't quite rise to the level of "bug":
(1) The description for a Basilisk says: "An evil reptile ..." but the monster does not have the EVIL flag. Since "evil" means something in the game (e.g. Slay Evil), the description should be changed to use a different word. The same problem exists for the Crebain, although there I think the right fix is to leave the description the same and add in the EVIL flag.
(2) The screen that shows resists has "?" for all possibilities in a slot where you are not wielding anything. Now, I can understand that if you are wielding say, a cloak that you don't know anything about, you'd have "?" all over, but I'd think that the character should be able to figure out that if they are *not* wielding a cloak, then they aren't getting any resists from the cloak that they aren't wielding.
(3) I have "easy_open" set in the Interface Options. Mistaken attempts to "o"pen a door in a place where there is no door results in 99 failures to open the non-existent door. This is only a minor annoyance since the failures take zero time.
(4) The description you get for "Mormegil" says *both*
. Stops experience drain
*and*
. Drains experience
I understand why it says both, but it certainly looks wrong.
