    When to use Calris?

    I've started saving ?to_hit since I could afford buying them, and when I found Calris I had about 30-35, and it got it up to -4 hit, and then I found one more getting it to -3.

    I'm hoping to get it up to ~+9 sometime soon. So anyway, when would be a good time to start wielding it? Obv. after I get it uncursed... I accidentally read the *RC* I found when I forgot to mark it with {!*}.

    I'm hoping soon, although for some fights I'll use PAIN, like against Sauron and Saurman since they are vulnerable to acid...

    I'm thinking, around 600~hp? (I may use Gorlim too, if I can find an elven ring for the telep, I'll already be aggravating, and the additional +8 / +8 isn't too bad.)

    Gorlim/Calris is a great swap for clearing out dragon pits - beyond that I'm not a huge fan, personally - it's underpowered relative to other endgame options.

      Calris is basically a strong weapon with disenchantment resistance. If you need the resistance to take on somebody it is useful, and can be helpful getting 18/200 CON for the last two fights.
