Huh. I was all excited to identify it, but it seems to have disappeared. I wonder if it got burned up, or perhaps I bought one from a store that IDed it for me. Time to turn on item flavors and hope I find another to dispel the mystery.

Went down to 50' to wait for some identify scrolls and got a superb feeling, so figured I'd check the place out real quick. Found a Ring of Flames. Wish I'd found that at 50' about 28 levels ago.

Doesnt work on uniques. I do wonder what happens when a necro or Blackguard activates a staff of dispel evil or the like.
