    on 2 separate occasions I found a chest within a chest.

      Takkaria said in another thread that it's not a bug. Smaller chests can spawn in bigger ones.

        Not sure if this is a known bug or not, but my pc went down a set of staircases to the next level, it droped me into a room with 4 walls and no way out, had a rod of detect doors stairs, so there was no doorway. Had to dig through the wall to get out, it was a predestroyed level. I figured that might have something to do with it.

          another bug:

          the player history was updating fine until I reached CL 39. Achieving CL 39 is not in the player history yet and I haven't achieved any other loggable events at CL 39 yet to see if it has quit altogether.


          another not-sure-if-it's-a-bug:

          Elemental Brand (in Tenser's) has always (after maybe 8 tries) branded my missiles only with Venom. 1 of 3 possibilites: either this is just the RNG messing with my mind, the other brands have been intentionally removed, or it's a bug.

            I've seen different brands. Getting all 8 the same is not that unlikely, merely 1 in 3^7. You will see much more unlikely events.

              RNG insulting you. As me. Poison is possibly least useful, but seems most common brand to get from TT. If you get venom 8 times in a row, maybe don't buy that lottery ticket.

                I'd love to get ann example of how this is abusive. It's not like you will regenerate HP/mana will dropping/picking up stuff. And the most massive your inventory can get on a level is what you brought + what you've found on the level, since you cannot recall/descend/ascend with more than your inventory.

                What am I missing?

                EDIT: Ooops, didn't read the thread carefully enough. Either way, I still think that, even if we could not use stuff of the floor, free pickup wouldn't be unbalancing.

                  I presume that "what you've found on the level" can be taken to unreasonable amounts given cloning / summoning / expenditure of large amounts of time. Personally I think anybody going to that sort of effort deserves a bit of an advantage.

                    I don't think pickup or leaving items in a pile underneath you in ASCs will matter. Most of the time the unique you're fighting has a breath or ball spell and the stuff on the ground will go poof since it's no longer protected by your immunities.
