    Shockbolt's tiles now in 3.4-dev!

Ladies and gentlemen - it's the moment you've all been waiting for! With many many thanks to Blubaron for all the hard work, we have today merged Shockbolt's tileset into the V dev versions.

The first build containing them is b4dd255, which is available for Windows here. I hope the MacOS version will be available shortly. If any Linux users need help building it themselves, please shout.

Many, many thanks to Shockbolt for his awesome work.

Btw, the licence for Shockbolt's tiles does not yet permit their use in v4. If Shockbolt grants permission for this use, I'll merge them into v4 after that. BREAKING NEWS: just received a reply from Shockbolt giving permission, so I'll try to do this ASAP. Thanks Shockbolt!

I have trouble switch to 64px tiles. Error message
      ---------------------------
      Warning
      ---------------------------
      Cannot read file '64x64.png'
      ---------------------------
      OK
      ---------------------------

And downloaded zip file has missing this file in "lib\xtra\graf" folder.
Any chance to update build script to zip 64px file too?

      Thanks!

The tileset should probably be posted under the "download" tab here at oook.cz as well.

Shockbolt is awesome, but I'm getting the same error as Antoine.

Oooh, that's odd. Sorry about that. I assumed that the package script would include all the files in lib/xtra/graf. Weird that it doesn't.

See, the thing about computers is that if you don't tell them to do stuff, they don't do it.

And if you tell them to do the wrong thing, they will happily do so.

No need to hurry, manually downloading 64x64.png from repositoty and placing it in proper location solves the problem :-)

Hmm, the build filenames are 3.3.0-bunchanumsandstuff.zip... shouldn't that be 3.4.0 or at least 3.3.3 or something?

And no source link on the build page?

edit: GEEZ! I unzip it and I get a folder angband-3.2.0?! Someone REALLY needs to update the version numbers...

edit2: on the plus side, I like the modularity afforded by lib/xtra/graf/graphics.txt! Even if it is mislabeled in the comments as dungeons.txt...

That looks very epic for what it is representing.

Yeah... shame that even with a 1600x900 monitor, I'll probably wind up playing with a scaled-down version of this tileset. (There is a way to scale the tiles in-game, right?) When you can only see maybe 25% of the town at once, and monsters in the dungeon can spot you from up to 20 tiles away, it's hard to justify using 64x64 pixels for every single tile...
