I'd think that some of the trolls might be immune- case by case I'd think.

All undead should be immune - It's magic, not muscles that keeps em moving.

Jellies not being immune seems... strange at least. same goes for elementals.
How do you poison a living fire? and if you poison grape jelly, doesn't that just mean you shouldn't eat it?

New Monster Idea: Jalapeno Jelly! Give em a poison/fire attack and WHOO HOO!

and for a bit deeper in the dungeon, of course... Habanero Jelly!

Can the fire hurt just as the poison expires? for obvious reasons
You should save my signature. It might be worth something someday.

Many of the jellies are described as mounds of flesh. In that case I think they can be poisoned. Or maybe it's the descriptions that are wrong?

What matters most, I think, is whether they are alive or dead. If they are alive somehow, I think they could be poisoned. I don't know if they are meant to be seen as alive, if they are magical, or if they are merely obstacles to dig through.

Does anyone else think mummies should be vulnerable to fire (i.e. have HURT_FIRE)?

Yeah (make then immune to electricity as compensation).

Really I'd expect electricity to set them on fire...

When it comes to undead, I'm thinking that since they are held together by some kind of magic energy, they would not be immune to electricity, because the electricity would dissipate that energy. (I'm not going to change anything with electricity this time.)

I will not add HURT_FIRE to mummies, because they are pushovers already. I've found that vampires, that have HURT_FIRE, are so weakened by it that they were harmless to my mage, and I don't want to do that to mummies too.

Vampires are vulnerable to fire? Maybe I've played too much Castlevania, but that seems wrong somehow...

Sunlight, fire, decapitation, wooden stake thru the heart

Those are the traditional ways to kill a Vampire. Also some older myths mention that they could drown in running water (but not still water or seawater. Don't ask, it doesn't make sense to me either).

There are plenty of other myths mentioning something resembling vampires, but those four killing methods are most common.

Neither does the idea that someone with no reflection in the mirror always has such impeccably managed hair.
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then why are beholders so freaking ugly?

That is what their Renfield types are for.

I think an overhaul of poison resistances is a good idea, and many of them will be the way they are through lack of attention when the monsters were created rather than reallly strong design choices (excepting uniques which are often resistant to make them tough)
