* Word of Recall needs to be an unlimited resource in the town, like ammo. Returning to town only to discover that there's no scrolls in stock, twice in a row, basically forces you to either townscum or devote a slot in your home to stashing scrolls, just in case. Neither is good.
Neither is necessary. Just buy out the general store, probably for about 1K.
I keep forgetting about the buyout option because it's such an artificial concept. "Whoops, I've sold my entire stock, guess it's time to conjure forth more from the aether!" Why wasn't that stuff available in the first place?
