Dang... found out that you cannot recharge staves in shops with this version. The bug was fixed on the 3.5 release branch and not ported to master. Oh well, time to buy recharging scrolls...

Ugh, killed at full health by a trapper because I forgot to re-swap FA on after "temporarily" swapping in boots of stability.

full ~450 to 0 with no actions able to be taken. Yay.

edit: still, a classic way to die, so my viewers got to see that and I had fun

When I try to move I sometimes get a <direction?> prompt, which seems sort of superfluous. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it.

same thing here. it's a very annoying problem that seems to only occur when i load this specific character. normally i use rogue_like_commands, but it seems that even disabling it doesn't help.

This seems like a very bizarre bug and not one I've ever seen. What OS are you guys playing on?

It's pretty awful...oh well. Newbs won't even know to kill him for it, so they won't be easily tricked into wielding the magical weapon that's inferior to a 0/0 dagger.

I'm using XP. The problem appears a lot if I press keys in short succession. Replicating the bug will be easiest if you try to hold down a direction key.

Oh, duh. This is because of a non-zero setting of the minimum delay. Set this to zero "=m0" and you should be good to go. This is a bit of a trouble setting and we should probably convince debo to reupload the initial save and set it to 0.

Yeah it happens when you give a command during the delay time. I knew I'd seen it before and it was nagging me. This is it.
