It's me, playing Half-Troll Warrior, the most classic melee brute char.

I keel some lesser dragon and it drops an unknown wand, two tiles away from a Death Mold. Thank god, I can pick it up. Test it on Death Mold hoping for /oTeleOther, an item I've whined after in these pages many times before.

Nope. It was clone monster. Created a hasted clone NW of the original mold. DED.
Actually it was good I died. My weapon got so disenchanted that I'd had started rage-careless play, had I survived.

OK, *that* is a new YASD. Yes, death by cloning has happened before. But not, perhaps, of an immobile monster.
