    What would you leave behind?

    An xbow <X5> (+16, +19)
    A Short bow <X4> (+9, +20) *Acid and pConf. with rod of healing activation.
    An xbow <X4> (+6, +15) <+5> DEX, hLife, pBlind, rDisenchant (though I have rDisenchant elsewhere).

    Basically, I'm a very powerful HT/Warrior with good DEX items. I was pretty much endgame ready by DL74, if not DL68.

    I found a good ring that has a slay as well as +1 shooting speed. I have a weapon that activates to brand bolts with flame, as well as doing good damage (especially to dragons). I have another weapon that does *very* good damage to *everything* (including Sauron and Morgoth). While wearing a damage ring (+13) instead of a speed ring it does the following silly numbers: 584 to others, 720 to Evil and non rCold, 856 to Sauron, 1128 to Undead/Demons. But I'm torn about the launchers I have. It seems obvious to drop the non-artifact one; but damage output is the most important thing to a warrior, and with branded ammo and +1 shooting speed I'm easily 600+ per round to non-rfire with the X5 xbow, it's a very nice complement to my already huge melee damage output. Softening them up with bolts and then flattening them with my weapon works really well. Of course the bow activation is super nice, and it's damage isn't that much less, plus Acid Immunity.

    Whoah, I just realized my super melee weapon also provides pConf. I've been running away from cat lord and greater titans last few levels. Woops!

    Anyway, it probably doesn't matter which I choose to keep or throw away; but I can't decide; I want it all and don't want to part with any nice, shiny things. (Hey, I'm leaving a +5 DEX, +3 CON armor behind because my current armor has 1000 heal activation on very short recharge time).

    But what would you drop? the <X5> xbow? The branding ammo activation weapon? The artifact xbow? Both xbows? Thanks! Remember, this is an Ironman game.

    i would drop the crossbow, instinctively. however, you could keep 1 crossbow 1 bow (keeping the A:Heal bow) so you can burn through those bolts you have.

        I'd leave the unbranded xbow and probably even all the bolts. I'd keep Niena xbow for HLife to back up when going hand-to-hand against some undead.

        I never do carry rods of curing during an ironman game. Well, certainly not at this point anymore.

            My weapon swap activates to brand bolts with fire, and does good damage to dragons, but not worth keeping just for the dragon slaying (since my other weapon is so boss overall). The Niena xbow also has +5 dex which could open the possibility of wearing the "Weaponmastery later. You're probably right that I could drop the rods of curing, but I have had too many games where I went from 40 CCW to 10 (or none) because the RNG decided it didn't want to give me any more potions for awhile, while simultaneously having monsters breathe a lot more etc.

              I would dump all xbows and the activation weapon. For dex, chances are youll find a Lorien bow later and you can decide then which amulet to use. Disenchantment is not an issue since you are unlikely to find a better weapon - and if you do, you can go without rdisn for the final fight.
