    Sirridan's Doomed @'s

    Going to keep my current character in one thread instead of making a new one for each.

    Currently I'm running a HE war, Silwe, who is doing quite well. I am taking it a bit slow, although at this point I'm hoping for a win in <1.5 million. I've pretty much found only dex/con/str potions, with a few int, one wis, and a few cha. Also found a toughness which nuked CHA which in my book is an excellent trade.

    Running with +11 speed now, and wondering if I should sacrafice the awesome sustains from permanence for rConf from Rohirrim.

    Also wondering when it is time to switch to my fury weapon. Ugh, I still feel stupid for reading an unid'd scroll so deep, oh well, found *RCurse* and now I Can wield something else. On the plus side, 3 of the more dangerous ringwraiths are dead.

    So yes, I am making a plea for equipment advice! Any would be appreciated! Dump for easy to useness:

    You're at a depth to find stat and restore stat potions, so there's no harm in switching to Rohirrim. IMO being confused is more of an annoyance than having stats reduced. It would be different if you were just starting out and had to rely on the stores for stat restore, or in an ironman game.

    You've got plenty of STR and inventory space, so carry a swap weapon or two, or carry the robe in case you come across something that decreases stats.

      Yeah, I really should have done that, when fighting a great wyrm of Law, it summoned one of balance. I killed LAW with no problem, but funny thing is I got confused by balance. Fundin bluecloak was coming up quick and I was taking a beating because elssar and my rod of healing were both charging, but I had my staff of healing.

      Failed to use it 4 times and died... such is life though. My next character found Dal-i-Thalon on dl 21, and in addition to elvenkind, I have all those resists covered very early.. heh.

        It is harder to use items when confused. That's part of why a rod of curing is so useless. A staff of healing is hard to use in the first place, and I'd guess only a high level mage could use it semi-reliably when confused.

        You should carry !CCW until you have confusion resistance or if you ever swap out your confusion resistance.

          I had ran out of !CCW, it was a stupid mistake going after them, but I got greedy and paid for it.

              My next one is starting off very well too, I'll post a dump in a bit, but yeah, I was a bit saddened, almost got my first win yesterday, but hey, I learned 2 things yesterday.

              1.) RConf is a must at lower levels
              2.) Don't blow consumables on fights that cause too much damage, that's a big part of why I was out of pots, because I was always picking stupid fights.

                Newest character, Simwe.

                Very promising right now, 13 speed, was 16 with Mahedros, but the damage sucked too much.

                Amulet of ESP in black market gives me that so I can switch out crown of telepathy for Thengel. Want rSound and rDark now and some other stuff so I can wear Hammerhand later on.

                Also lucky with elvenkind shield in armor shop that has rPoison.
