            And it keeps going. Ar-Pharazon was tough opponent to level 37 paladin but that long, tedious and potion-draining fight turned out to be worth the trouble when he dropped 4(!) artifacts, all of which are equipped now.

              At level 50 this guy had all resistances (though 0 immunities), massive damage, permanent speed +21. Most uniques are piece of cake etc etc.

              No immunities is bad but with 1189 hit points and heal spell this guy is invincible... until Tarrasque proved otherwise.

              RIP

              Probably first and certainly last time to try Tarrasque without at least one immunity.

                Ugramoth--
                Immunities arent required vs Tarrasque, except to save your gear. But double immunity is an absolute minimum. Without at least !rCold, !rFire, and rDis, you have no chance.

                  Yes...those inconspicuous resist heat/cold potions the vendor sells make all the difference. Some people carry them constantly. I dont go that far, but when its time for the big uniques, I make sure to have them.

                    [Frogcomposband] Best early drop ever?

                    a Set of Gauntlets of Slaying (+2,+5) [4,+6] {/oTPULZLv}
                    Dropped by Nizukil, Prince of Rats in the quest 'The Compost Heap'.
                    Identified: Day 1, 14:56, at CL 13.

                    That is slay Living, Undead, Demon and then some... Not *slay* but hey I was like ten minutes from starting the character.

                        My low-level (13 at the time) Hobbit Necromancer got this. I think I’ll be keeping it for a while.

                        It immediately turned the level 8 feeling of that level (a soldier/warrior pit, mostly warriors) into an entirely doable proposition.

                        Code:
                        a) the War Hammer 'Dilmachor' (5d3) (+14,+18) <+2> {??}
                             Dropped by Bullroarer the Hobbit at 350 feet (level 7)

                             You do not know the full extent of this item's powers.
                             +2 wisdom.
                             +2 speed.
                             Slays dragons (powerfully).
                             Branded with weak fire.
                             Provides resistance to Cold.
                             Cannot be harmed by Acid.
                             Feather Falling. Speeds regeneration. Grants telepathy. Grants
                             the ability to see invisible things.

                             When activated, it teleports you randomly up to 10 squares away.
                             Takes 41 to 45 turns to recharge.
                             Your chance of success is 96.1%

                             Combat info:
                             1.0 blow/round.
                             With +8 STR and +0 DEX you would attack a bit faster

                             With +0 STR and +4 DEX you would attack a bit faster

                             With +0 STR and +7 DEX you would get 1.1 blows

                             resistant to fire, and 30.1 vs. others.

                              Well all I can say, 2 taps and he died clearing a greater checkerboard vault not paying attention and hitting Wiruin. XD

                              And literally the previous jaunt was also a greater checkerboard that he cleared, coming home with like 15 artifacts, lol.
