Surtur ... Slain! (CL40:DL52) Surtur is DL85 and normally quite a load. However, I have a near perfect setup here, surrounded by Dark Pits to eliminate summoning (I think ... but he never did) and I just picked up Azaghal for fire immunity. He could not cross the Dark Pit in front of him, so he did nothing but move back and forth the whole battle, breathing fire once, but then he must of realized he was helpless :-) The Take: I got my seeker arrows back that he was collecting, but nothing else. When I found immunty to fire with my first archer attempt in entro and the otherwise fireball-happy *i_kill_your_items* archviles in doom quest kept attacking me with melee attacks. I also remeber there WAS acid breathed at me, when I had thorin in my last Heng1.60 char, so I figured it was something new with heng1.70 or entro even. I am using Smart Learn but am not using Smart Cheat, so perhaps I am forcing monsters to discover my immunities? Dunno, but it feels more realistic to me. Seen 1403 times. |
