Fly farming This was a quest vault, and I easily got the prize (toughest monster was an adult green dragon, but I had plenty of healing and a potion of berserk strength). But by the time I was done with the traps and the tough monsters, the place was full of Tse-Tse flies. If I was anything but a rattikin warrior, I'd have had a problem - if I had lower AC they could easily overpower me, and if I wasn't immune to disease I'd have had to strike a quick retreat. As it was, I had a whole lot of nearly harmless breeders worth quite a bit of EXP (7 EXP when I started). So I swallowed my pride and started farming - I entered the vault level 15 and exited it level 23, with nearly 1500 flies dead, because I didn't feel like killing another 1000 for level 24.
