Perfect positioning... ... for the Serpent Battle. Here's why: 1) Serpent can't cross perma-rock, and AI isn't smart enough to go around the real entrance. 2) Thanks to a ?o*Destruction* I can DimDoor there into safety whenever battles go awry (albeit with 4% fail, so can't do it in very desperate situations). 3) The shop sometimes stock Arrows and Rods! I have enough money that I can often buy out the shop when necessary, though I've only been buying Rods when they so up so far. 4) When I actually do DimDoor out to fight, the Serpent, being the incredible coward that he is, summons Uniques like crazy. Uniques, that would normally take me a while to kill. However, in this case I just DimDoor back into my safety zone, and watch the Serpent bring those Uniques he summoned down to 1 star. I then DimDoor out and finish the job. The only down point is that this may take a while, for the Serpent to summon all the dangerous Uniques O_o Posted on 4.9.2005 06:31 Related character dump: Nimble Beryl, L48 Beastman Ranger Comments?
