2nd light source I check with newbie (lvl 18) Ninja is... Yep that's right. "Torch of Darkness". My previous two ninjas had a hell of a time getting a light source of Darkness (one of them never did before he got wiped off the hard disk). Is this an omen from the RNG. I'm currently wearing Cammithrin (for free Action) and they give permanent light and my stealth works fine when I dim the lights. I think the radius for a torch is 1 and this means I can wear one light emitting item and still hide in darkness. Obviously this means I should still look for a better light source of darkness (Faenorian Lamp for example) but this will do nicely as by the time I'm ready to get Sting I'll ditch Cammithring coz I'll have innate free action anyway (+ Sting gives you that as well anyway I think)...
