Benedict OK, this is my typical unique handling strategy. We start with a long straight corridor. An easy escape corridor is dug out in parallel. The two mirrors on the end up near Benedict will focus my Binding Field into a Binding Beam. Any summons will be quickly destroyed if they land in front of me (unless they are really big, in which case I will teleport them away). Leaving open space behind me is bad tactics, but I'm powerful enough not to notice! If a mirror breaks, or if I run out of Mana, its time to Mirror Tunnel into my safe zone, lay down another mirror and recharge my mana fully. Then Mirror Tunnel back to my killing corridor and wait for Benedict to rejoin the top of the Binding Field! The take: Narya! At 555hp of damage, it is 11% more deadly than a Mana Storm, but the setup restrictions make it less useful. I have trouble with monsters that "come at you", like Wong, Shub Niggurrath, the Serpent. The angles become difficult, and I might setup a triangle were I think they are headed only to have them side step it completely. At DL90, though, it is not likely that I can buy something better than I can simply find laying on the ground! Seen 1700 times. |
