Finished GRQ Quest I think I spent over an hour on this level, fighting 11 Greater rotting quylthulgs. The first few fell to LoS-abuse, but after a while I could not get any good angles to attack from. I should probably have dug some tunnels, but what the heck. Might as well fight fair. So I stepped into their LoS and fired at them. Various nasty undead appeared. No biggie. Took down two more Qs. Uh oh, ringwraiths. After some minutes I had just about every single ringwraith surrounding me in the room. By then I started creating void jumpgates to get me close to the Qs, so I could melee them. Took down a few more. I was completely surrounded by liches and whatnot, and my stats was rapidly decreasing. I read a few scrolls of destruction. Helped a bit. By the time there were only 2 Qs left, every open space was occupied by a monster, there were jumpgates all over, and no place to heal. I spent some time away from the Qs, mindwaving monsters to empty rooms. Picked up some nice rods along the way. The last Qs were meleed to death, after which I mindwaved most of the remaining monsters and promptly recalled out. Interesting battle, but I think I'll bring a rod of restoration and some more healing potions with me next time.
