Carrying around these chests finally paid off! Just found a _Freedom and opened both with a single charge. It's too bad there was nothing inside except some gauntlets and greaves, none of which was worth carrying around. On the bright side, the mystery of what was inside is solved and I now have a lot of inventory space.
