Vaults in Fizzixband Competition or not, two vaults with shiny stuff is too tempting to leave. The first one contained a Great Crystal Drake who could have one-shotted me if I had been 20 below max hp, Adunaphel, Lorgan, Beorn, Loads of Vrocks, Loads of other nasties. No teleport, no speed boost, limited healing supply -- still doable, but it does eat up more game turns. The second vault (displayed) has some fights I may not want, we'll see.
