Wyrm of Space-Time pet... Some random monster dropped a scroll of Acquirement, so I take a chance and run to R'lyeh to read it, since reading my other two in the Dark Cave resulted in a big load of nothing. First step attracts a Great Wyrm of Space and Time. After changing my pants I notice that it's friendly -- the RNG is mocking me. No capture ball, and absolutely no way to get it back to town. But, the scroll netted me a Ring of Speed (+9), so no complaints, I guess.
