For some reason, winning with a mindcrafter just feels a bit... cheesy. True, mindcrafters are probably the most difficult class starting out - they totally suck at physical combat, and their starting attack spell is ineffective against all sorts of monsters.

Once you get to level 25, though, mindwave becomes insanely powerful. I honestly think that the drawbacks of that spell (supposedly being risky vs. greater undead and demons) should be increased. I never really had difficulty using it to blast greater undead / demons. It would occasionally backfire, but by the time you're using mindwave you're likely to have a perfect saving throw anyway. So the backfire doesn't actually do anything.

Towards the end I had exhausted my supply of *Destruction* and Morgoth was summoned yet again... had to do some dancing around to keep out of LOS from Morgoth while I finished up with The Big Boss.
