If you want a third speciality, I'd suggest heading to Nargothrond first. You are fast heading into Death Quasit territory (to say nothing of the other fiends in that neck of the woods) and if you don't want to end up doing a lot of stair scumming just to stay alive you probably want to take a different route for now.

Death Quasits are not tough - just fast, invisible, pass_wall, confusing and reduce your dexterity. If you are in a position to survive that then they often provide a nice drop - if you are a thrall then they are a nightmare...

A SUGGESTION FOR THE MAINTAINER: Here's what I tried to do (back in town, before I recalled and met my maker), and it didn't work (I guess FA's not set up that way), is to wield the Storm Hammer in my (b) equipment slot. Have you considered allowing a player to wield a weapon that can be used for both melee and throwing in the (b) slot, rather than a bow? I'm not talking about wielding a sword and then throwing it. I mean a weapon made specifically for throwing but can also be wielded for melee, like a well-balanced dagger or a storm hammer. Even though I had a good bow, being a cleric, I rarely used it (because I rarely hit with it), esp. on the 50+DL's, and would have gladly given it up. Then one could switch between weapons more quickly (or instantly w/o a shield) while retaining the features of both, perhaps at the expense of the (i) shield slot, and/or, assuming the (b) slot in melee would be wielded in a player non-dominant hand, a penalty to skill.
