There's no point in mucking around with cl >> dl, especially as a high-stealth, high-survivability class like Rogue. It's hard to kill mobs without superb melee (or light vulnerability and a stack of Light Rods.)

You will be pleasantly surprised by the damage you can do with an enchanted sling. Try buying branded ammo (service) from the store when you can afford it. Even 10 shots goes a long way.
