Scummed on creation a bit to try and get a nimble character with good hps and I think I succeeded. Chlvl 11 with 185hps @CON of 17 seems pretty good.

Boy talk about an upgrade. He recalled str8 back to Angband and killed some yeeks whils't making his way to the stairs when one them dropped a dagger (2d4) - I thought there was no way it could be Fiona but I was wrong.... Next I noticed Robin Hood on the level and made short work of him and he dropped a paper armour and a Lucerne Hammer (3d7). The paper armour was of Resistance with the additional res being "Poison" yippee. The Lucerne hammer was of Slaying so used it for cash.

This guy is off to a good start....

Please RNG don't take him away from me....

I'm going to try to set a record for no of posts with no activity...

No dump update but he cleaned up Ulfast, Lagduf and Mughash on a very small 3 room level on Angband 12 - Quaffed a total of 1 ?CSW and basically just plowed through them like butter.... Did get gloves of Agility +3 which now gets him 6 blows at chlvl 15 for 102 damage (no damage boosting items at the moment so it can only get better).

Currently plowing through Orc Camp Quest and they're all one round kills except for Golfimbul who took 3 rounds... lol

Playtime is not indicative as I leave it on in the background at work and at home between chores - this guy is motoring trust me.

227 hps at chlvl 15 with Con 17 - I'm sure his life rating is going to be good.

I need to get free action soon so I don't kill Grok too early from absolute stupidity.

Dhzang - I haven't done Orc Caves with this character and I normally don't do them as well - I did do them with my previous Archer Character Bullseye because he picked up a Long Sword of Slay Orcs (+8,+13) very early from the Thieves Quest so figured why not pick up some levels there on the way....

This guy headed off to the Dragon Lair at Chlvl 16 as he had 7 blows with Fiona for 231 damage and 240 hps so figured he could handle it.

Levelled up nicely there but forgot I now have preserve mode off and I was doing what I used to do ( ie bouncing up and down the stairs till I saw a group of monsters I liked) - I did this about a dozen times or so before I remembered and when I looked at the Artifact list it seems I missed out on:

Phial of Galadrial
Soulsword
Yeduson

No great loss but annoying none the less.

Missing the Phial proved a bonus as I picked up an extra Scroll of Acquirement for it. Took the 2 scrolls (Arena + Elven Lords Quest) and got one crap item ( Foo of Slay Troll or something like that) + Faramir.... Yipee.....

Got to Chlvll 24 then did the mid level quest run that quite often yields some nice items... the pick of which was Hagen in the Mimic Quest....

Completed Vault without too much hassle (Ring Mimic annoyed Grok as he wasn't sure what the hell was summoning everything but he teleported away cleaned up everything and and then came back for it.

Currently decided to dual wield Fiona and Sting and dive in the Dragon Lair to improve kit even further.

14 blows, Res Base and 360hps at Chlvl 27 should see him do ok. Hagen stays at home for the moment.

As it turned out his life rating was good - 109 but Str and Dex were at 18/70 - Cha was 130 lol..... Equipment probably would've meant it didn't matter but I rolled up another Nibelung Samurai (his brother Grak) who is currently lvl 20 and seems to be blessed with good hps as well but not having the same luck with finding an early weapon...... I'm not going to post him till much later.

Sigh - I'd only just found Gorinosho too...

You did realize that the Chikovo was probably more powerful than any unique you had killed thus far, right? Yeah, Scatha is higher level, but the Chickovo had 75% more hp and MUCH higher AC thans Scatha, plus its per round melee damage is comparable to a Hru. They're faster in Entroband than in Heng, too. Good think they're rare.
