So I decided I'd make a character of Dr. Orpheus from The Venture Bros. This is the current product. This is probably the first Necromancer I've ever successfully used, and I couldn't have stolen a better character from pop culture to do it with!

Might as well use that broad sword feldisham dropped; it's at least good, if not excellent or special.

Problem is, he died not five minutes after this post- Humiliatingly, of starvation. I was too irritated to do anything but quit the program, and since the dump would've been little different, I decided not to bother dumping it. Chances are that I'll restart this character and repost it. It's not as though he got far enough to be worth leaving on the ladder, nor was his life so humiliatingly (i.e. "You enter a maze of down staircases. The Jackal hits you! You die.") short so as to make for a good character to laugh at.

I'd rather he use hafted weapons, anyway.

The new Dr. Orpheus, the one who DIDN'T die of starvation during the first quest he went on. I saved and dumped pretty much right after I killed Lagduf, so that's why I still haven't used that Holly Staff. Umm... That's about it.

After a little work, this is the new Dr. O. He's really not all that much different aside from knowing every spell in the first two books and actually being able to HIT stuff with that quarterstaff.

Go Team Venture!

And he's dead.

Yep, that felt like something of a waste of time, looking back on it. Mostly because he died and I spent a fair amount of time on him. Plus he was killed by a Master Yeek, which is always depressing.

Meh.

Early game (pre stat-gain) is pretty hard in Sang. I think it's the lack of (additional) multiple blows, lack of egos, and intelligent spellcasters.

I generally try to keep a stack of CCW on me by this point; potions really save my butt a lot. 10 CCW cost around 2K maybe. Worth the investment.

I'll keep that in mind- Especially when playing a Necromancer, whose only recovery spell (At least, that I've seen thus far) is Cure Poison, which I almost feel is only there because the previous spell you would logically learn poisons you when you use it. That's not to say it isn't useful- I stayed alive a LOT longer than I would have because of three spells:
-Cure Poison
-Dispel Evil
-Death Claw
Yep. I do, however, remember one time about 10 minutes before he died when I was saved by a Scroll of Blessing. That was interesting.
