Well, it was too good to last. A Serpent of the Brownlands plus Mim on one level. I underestimated the strength of the Serpent, but managed to teleport away. I landed next to Mim. My teleport staff was burnt up by a local fire hound. I was hurting, so I read a teleport scroll--and landed next to the Serpent of the Brownlands again. The RNG hates me.
