I think Thunderfeet was just about to the point where weapon combat would have been more effective, but I figured he should stay with his path.

I read somewhere that throwing can be effective in Sangband, but Thunderfeet was never able to get serious mileage out of it. He usually carried around a stack of (+5,+5) or so javelins, but they were never really useful for anything more than finishing off fleeing enemies that were already down to 1 star.
