So after running into a bug in TOME that made my character unwillable I decided to try something different. Boy am I glad I did. I'm have a TON of fun with this Steamband variant.

I chose a female french aesthete as a tribute to the Bond-girl from Thunderball. It was just to be silly but it turns out to be a pretty kick-butt character combo. Of course, with such weak HPs I died many times as a low level character amd start over b4 I got this one rolling.

The character so far has pretty much used ray-guns exclusivly for offence Its alot of fun playing around trying to figure out which ones work best on what monsters, as alot of them have specific weaknesses. The french connosoire ability has been a lifesaver in many situations.

Pretty darn good. My fallback for monsters w/o any specific vulnerabilites is the raygun of Clamour which does 33d40 with one pop. With Fast Device Use maxxed and speed in the 20's I'm getting 9 shots off for each move of a normal speed creature.

I find it amusing that the T. Rex description includes the sentance: "Mind the bite." From what I've seen, that bite attack might be the single most destructive melee attack in any 'band.
