Thorongil got through the Barrow-downs okay, then he went for his first God quest... and... was killed by a wall. Literally. The walls in Ulmo's temple are actually swift waterfalls, and one can walk over them, but with serious water damage. Thorongil accidentally stepped on one of the walls, got confused, and in two turns he was dead. Sigh.
