After trying to beat this game for about seven years, I decided to actually get some resistances instead of damage rings and win the game... and so I did! As a reward to my faithful curvy-girl at symbol, I have procured for her several mushrooms of hallucination and some *actual* food, since she hasn't really eaten anything since I could cast Satisfy Hunger with a decent success rate. I used the autoscummer for the first time and it really made a difference. I encountered a greater vault (Huge type) at 1650' and was able to teleport away most monsters with a wand and took home several useful artifacts. I nearly died of hunger once and Azriel blasted me down to 13 h.p. before I realized what was happening (*drunk*) :) I got a little impatient and fought Morgoth with my current equipment and 7 potions of Life, 3 *Healing* potions and 2 Healing potions. I killed him with roughly 300 hit points left and used my staff of *Destruction* to wipe out all the liches and demons surrounding me. I didn't take the time to find some more useful artifacts and kill Vecna, but since I resisted everything but life-draining I took a chance and won.
