A way forward better than looking for stat potions near the stairs is to clear vaults, especially minor ones with only a few baddies inside. You find them by exploring levels with a high level feeling.

This is more dangerous and requires 1) teleport other (which you have covered and I guess Thingol can recharge the wands; if you switch to a different cloak, ?recharging should be carried) and 2. detection. Ideally you want rods of detection, lacking those staves of detect evil serve.

Watch out for monsters that disenchant - your Wrath lost a few points of enchantment that cant be restored.
Normally I avoid fighting disenchanters in melee unless I have the resistance covered. One option is to prepare Calris and carry it as swap for that purpose.
