So far the only exceptional thing this run is a fantastic new toy I found - a rod of identify. In previous games my ability to identify all the loot from the dungeon has been the major limiting factor on how long I can wait before returning to town. Plus, managing separate stacks of scrolls and staves of identify has been a pain. Rod of identify makes everything better!
