2 hour mark:
Currently at clvl 29 possessing Grendel doing 237 combined melee damage with 'Sting', with AC 75, +3 base speed, 577 MaxHP, zero mana, and 90465 gold.

Story:
This one was off to a rocky start.

At clvl 16, a Nexus hound scrambled my stats, which especially nerfed my STR from 18/91 to 15, yet it somehow favorablly boosted my CON to 18/91 (at the time)...from a value that was much lower!!! That having occurred, I could live with that. All of that snafu happened before I got any source of Nexus resistance.

While the STR <-> CON swap (as I thought) appeared annoying, it was actually a blessing especially with the nice HP boost I got. I went through a series of body possessions. I primarily used a Sabre-tooth tiger to blast through several town quests at once. Then, I switched through different types of melee powerhouses with boosts to both STR and CON -- Water troll -> Eldrak -> then finally stayed as Grendel since clvl 27, who was great with the big boosts to HP and melee. Possessing these melee powerhouses meant a further HP boost! I was fortunate enough to get equipment that boosted STR as well! As Grendel, I managed to push through and succeed in completing the Sting quest, which was a bit tricky, but doable to the end. Having 500+ HP was not full-proof protection. The Sting quest had the Queen Ant, a much hated presence.

Otherwise, looking good. 577 is *a lot* of HP for a clvl 29 Possessor. Knowing that I have ways of compensating for the STR, I cannot really complain about the STR <-> CON swap snafu after all. I still have to look out for the low AC of 75, though. Right now, I'm fighting in the mountains NW of Zul to gather loot to sell in order to hopefully get this (Trump) weapon with a +13 to damage from Zul '7' before it disappears. I should head into the dungeons soon.

3 hour 5 min mark:
Currently at clvl 31 possessing Grendel doing 311 Normal melee damage with 'Sting', with AC 104, +5 base speed, 603 MaxHP, zero mana, and 1473 gold.

Looking decently good. Got > 600 HP already. I didn't get the big damage (Trump) weapon I sought. Instead, I got sidetracked into a fight with Gwaihir and killed him instead, which netted a corpse. That was worth it. After that, I decided to stay in the wilderness for a bit longer. I took out Scylla too, though her [yes, Scylla is a female] Fire breath packed a big punch. I used a Potion of Healing right away and finished off the crazed reptile. I encountered an unforseen scary close call while looking for more unique foes to wipe out -- someone breathed Fire and my HP dropped from 600 to just < 150. WOW!! I teleported away and hit the overworld map and managed to escape. The craziness didn't stop there. I sought and had a rough time taking out Moire, Queen of Rebma. She was nasty as hell. I was barely able to take her down, even with 600 HP, though I delayed using Caspanion and my one last spare Potion of Speed. After venturing in the wilderness for a while, I did a short stint at the Anti-magic cave.

I really should head into the dungeons soon since Grendel will stop gaining EXP at clvl 33. If I'm not able to find a suitable replacement, I'll probably use Gwaihir.
