Joke monsters ON
Persistent dungeons ON
Monsters learn from mistakes ON
Z-coloring scheme ON
'Linear' stats OFF (so that stats can show as 18/--)
Merge discounts ON
Show EXP needed for next level ON

Those will be my preferred settings from now on.

Play session duration: 10-15 min

Currently at clvl 5 possessing a Player (the "@' dude) doing 85-115 barehanded damage with AC -17 (minus 17), +4 Base Speed, 34 HP, 0 SP, 30 Sanity, 113 Piety, and 3425 gold.

Created another Possessor-like Loremaster (Nevrast II) with settings based on how I would play PosChengband.

This run should be interesting. Completed the Thieves quest. Stole two big finds -- an Amulet of of War (+3 attacks) and a Scimitar of Gondolin. I need to allocate those extra skill points.

Key finds:
1) an Amulet of of War (+3 attacks) {Clvl 1, stolen from Bree '6'}
2) a Scimitar of Gondolin (2d5) (+10,+11) (+3) {Clvl 5, stolen from Bree '3'}

@AnonymousHero
I got the download from here:
http://www.furytech.net/mirror.php?go=list&path=/furyBand

Please note that although my chardump says FuryBand 5.1.0, this is from 5.1beta6.

All chardumps for Furyband 5.1beta6 will appear as if it was Furyband 5.1.0.

I have no idea if the GP Fury even released the official "Furyband 5.1 Gold" version yet.

Play session duration: ~ 1 hour 3 min

Changes to settings:
Alert user to critical hitpoints is now ON

Player [the '@' dude] (clvl 1 - 9)
-> Boar of Everholt [clvl 9, wilderness NW of Bree] (clvl 9 - 11)
-> Snow tiger [clvl 11, wilderness NW of Bree] (clvl 11 - 14)
-> Water troll [clvl 14, swamp south of Witch Realm of Angmar entrance] (clvl 14 - 20)
-> Lokkak, the Ogre Chieftain [clvl 20, swamp sout of Witch Realm of Angmar entrance] (clvl 20 - now)

Currently at clvl 24 possessing Lokkak, the Ogre Chieftain doing 172-452 barehanded damage with AC 149, +16 Base Speed, 353 HP, 1 SP, 110/149 Sanity, 113 Piety, and 2303 gold.

So far, so good. Not dead yet. I almost got killed in wilderness northwest of Bree at clvl 7(?); I had ZERO HP in front of a Hippogryph. I managed to kill it, with Carc of Ravenhill (coaligned) coming to the rescue. Got the Boar of Everholt as the first monster body to possess at clvl 9. Then switched around bodies until sticking with Lokkak from clvl 20. And Lokkak is a beast who can take hits and dish out good damage, and I'm not even wearing that Amulet of Water with +3 Attacks! Found a loads of goods that I stole from several stores as well.

Let's see how far this will go.

Key finds:
1) a Harp of the Eldar (+1) {Clvl 23, stolen form Caras Galadhon '7'}
2) a Psychoactive Skin of Resist Acid (+5,+5) [10,+12](20%) (+1 to stealth) {Clv}
3) a Handclaw (+6,+6) [3,+8] {Clvl 24, Gondolin '7'}
4) a Climbing Set {Clvl 23, stolen from Osgiliath '7'}

Key dead uniques:
1) Sir Physt
2) Bjorn, the Warper
3) Lokkak, the Ogre Chieftain

Play session duration: ~ 2 hour 13 min

-> Lokkak, the Ogre Chieftain [clvl 20, swamp south of Witch Realm of Angmar entrance] (clvl 20 - 33) [body intact]
-> Dracolisk [clvl 31, Dead Marshes] (clvl 33) [body intact[
-> Leviathan [clvl 33, deep water west of Dead Marshes] (clvl 33 - 36)
-> Great Worm of Chaos [clvl 36, Dead Marshes] (clvl 36 - 39)
-> Jormungard the Midgard Serpent [clvl 39, Dead Marshes] (clvl 38- now)

Currently at clvl 36 (max clvl 39) possessing Jormungard the Midgard Serpent doing 620-2200 barehanded damage with AC 286, +40 Base Speed, 4059 MaxHP, 20 MaxSP, 365/365 Sanity, 3093 Piety, and 22639 gold.

Switched to the Leviathan at clvl 33 and did more messing around in the Dead Marshes. I had a close call in the Dead Marshes with the Witch-King of Angmar and his monster parade ganging up on me. I even had that Witch-King dude down to 4 stars. But, I was out of Scrolls of Teleportation. So, I had to bail out. Went back once more, and Combat-Echizen (who also is in Furyband) tried to blast me with Rockets. Bailed out again.

After reaching clvl 35, I decided to set out looking for the Illusory Castle so that I get the Helm of Knowledge. Took me forever to find the place. Once locating it, I went to a Thunderlord place in Gondolin to recall to Illusory Castle 52, quickly took out the Glass Golem, and recalled out.

With the Helm of Knowledge on board, back to work in the Dead Marshes, again. Fought some high level dudes. Later, I switched to a Great Worm of Chaos, and then, Jormungard the Midgard Serpent.

As Jormmungard, the amount of HP is awesome. But, I wouldn't let that MaxHP fool anyone. At clvl 39, I had a horrid close call with Bahamut's troops surrounding me as I attempted to pick up a GWoC Corpse along with other corpses AND I ran out of Scrolls of Teleportation. I immediately dropped all corpses and tried to use the Scroll of WoR. The WoR took way too long. Then, I saw my HP trickle duing lower and lower. What made the encounter so hard was those Dragons' fear spell which had a long-duration-effect, the lack of Fear Resistance AND I ran out of Heroism poitions. At one point, I killed off one Ancient Dragon and there was a gap for escape. My HP was as low as 90-something. And damn, I jet out of there. I think the recall was still taking place.

At this point, I'm taking a break.

Key finds:
1) a Ring of Speed (+12) {cursed, Clvl 35, stolen from Cara Galadhon '7'}
2) The Iron Helm of Knowledge [6,+20] (-6) {Clvl 35}

By the way, to those who didn't know: Killing Moldoux doesn't summonsthe GWoP in Furyband

Fought in the Dead Marshes...Switched onto Ancalagon the Black at clvl 40 for some real madness. Although I'm definitely having fun, Ancalgon doesn't have access to Disintegration breath? Or maybe, I need to put even more points onto Possession? Also, having > 6,000 HP is no protection to hallucination attacks!!
