A really interesting adventure with this one here. I set off in hopes of just finding a word of recall scroll, instead of my usual sell-armor buy WoR, and it took me a really long time. I cleared a fair bit of every floor until 950' when one finally presented itself. Just in time too, as my stats were all getting pretty wrecked. I burned 32,000 gp on a black market strength potion just to avoid the hassle of waiting for a shop restock, or finding an item of restoration at home.

I'm missing auto-center, uniques with color and auto-open the most... other than that though, not really much difference that I can tell between this and 3.0.6, the version I have the most experience with.

It's kind of hard to time it just right though... like trying to hit right on the dollar at the gas pump or something. I didn't really spend much time with 2.8.3, I played more 3-3.06.

Could I win 283 if I really wanted? I don't know, but at 1350' I realized I didn't want to even try.
