Here I go...again. Meet Miss America, a Mighty Zeus Scrollmaster, who managed to harness melee to another level!! I chose Zeus this time because of earlier access to better damage and the Lightning Aura AND the awesome parentage magical device boosting artifact.

2 hour mark:

Looking monstrous for a Scrollmaster! My current melee damage is now double the amount I had the last time:
This time: 257 at clvl 26
Last time: 129 at clvl 17

Completed a slew of quests at once in this order: Orc cave -> Tengu Swords -> Old Man Willow -> Dark elven lords -> Mimic quest -> DQ1 -> Sewer. Most of the quests weren't too bad. DQ1 was the scary one because I didn't have Fire resistance at that time. After those, I went straight into Labyrinth killing monsters left and rights with melee. I wanted to kill the Minotaur of the Labyrinth within the 2 hour mark, but couldn't because I had to make numerous round trips to make money from the dropped goods. I even found TWO Rings of Speed, but I put those away for now because I wanted to see the highest melee damage I could pull off.

I chose Merchant's Friend as the clvl 20 talent. Initially, I thought this was a mistake. But, this was handy in reserving the Ring of Combat (+14,+13) (+2) {25% off, Cn}, which I purchased from one of the Black Markets. Merchant's Friend might be useful in reserving high-level store items in the future.

I also had a horrid close with a Ancient red dragon near the mountains just south of Angwil at clvl 22. That dragon swiped me down to 4 HP, which I barely escaped!
