I might be wrong, but I think you might be able to afford losing some dexterity from equipment and still be hitting the cap.

Because of your high stealth and good detection, you can pretty reliably avoid the wyrms that hit your resistance holes.

You should replace your ring of lightning soon, since it's doing nothing but giving some AC and letting you wake up monsters from range...you already have another source of rElec.

You need more speed (as I'm sure you know) and ideally some ESP. Rogues are better than most at diving sans ESP, but they benefit a lot from being 100% aware of which monsters nearby stay asleep without paranoid detection.

Watch out for any unique you don't know, of course. Most of them will be faster than you, meaning you risk getting double-moved.

I highly recommend abusing Door Creation. It's easy to underestimate, but is definitely one of the strongest spells in the game because it breaks line of sight, letting you escape, avoid being summoned on, making monsters walk up to you, etc. It's absolutely amazing what you can do with that spell and a little bit of cleverness. You should cast it any time you're not 100% sure of your surroundings.

You can also consider diving fast to help speed up equipment finding. Your speed and resistances aren't up to a lot of the deeper fights yet, but rogues are good at diving deep and nabbing items off of the floor with their unique combination of detection and stealth. Doing this will help you find the speed and resists you need to fight, plus it will net sweet consumables. I recommend it, but you might die.

Keep in mind, the more turns your game takes, the more time the game has to randomly screw you with something unfair, so waiting to dive until you're "strong enough" can be counterproductive, especially when you have the tools to dive fairly safely (and you do).

In your position, I'd make a bunch of inventory space. First, I'd recommend dropping off a lot of your arrows at home (each 40 arrows in your quiver takes 1 slot away from your inventory). Then I'd drop Potions of Curing and Cure Serious Wounds off at the home or on the ground, and I'd also ditch all the rods because their damage is just not relevant compared with your bow/melee at this stage.

If your home fills up, you can start losing weaker items, such as Narthanc.

Your character's looking good! You have some good items, particularly Thorin, Dal-i-thalion, and Fingolfin. Hammerhand is also good stuff.


tl;dr Looking good! Clean up some space, then dive deep!
